TANJA DORN (with special project regarding the Berlin Wall)

Well known in her native Rhineland by age 18, TANJA DORN studied piano at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin where she received special awards and invitations to concertize throughout Germany. In 2001 she premiered a concerto by Hans-Josef Winkler in the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic to acclaim. Upon her arrival in the United States Ms. Dorn became the innovative and dynamic artistic director of Klavierhaus-New York, and has been active in the coordination of the Florentine Festival taking place in October, 2004 in New York City and plans to celebrate the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
